To use magic on KB, you must sign up for a report. Please read this thread in its entirety for information.
In order to claim points that you can put towards different branches of magic, you must first apply for your own Report Card (student) or Employment Report (adult). Simply copy/paste the below form, fill it out then post your application in this thread. A member of the admin team will create your Report (you will be notified). A copy of the Willow's branch system will be placed in the first post of your character's Report. All options will be greyed out and will remain so unless purchased to allow you the ability to track your character's magical progression and what remains unmastered on the tree. This will be updated by an admin whenever you make a request for new purchases, which can be done at the end of each term.

Things to keep in mind:
- To advance as an adult in your career, you must claim at least 12ʛ, but no more than 28ʛ.
- Students do not have a minimum ʛ requirement to advance.
- Threads are considered complete when you have either (a) 3 posts that contain 4 paragraphs and 4 sentences each, OR (b) 10 short posts.
HOGWARTS MATRICULATION GUIDE
Students are automatically considered to have been 'passed' the school year, and there is no minimum ʛ requirements for this. At the end of term, your student will be moved up whether you claim points or not; however, if you do claim points, your total value claimed must not exceed 28ʛ.

WIZARDING WORLD END OF YEAR BONUS
Your character can still earn points even after graduating or if you started them as post-Hogwarts graduates. Children under 11 do not qualify for MPS. Adults, on the other hand, are free to continue earning and spending on the Willow's branches. As well as being able to apply for salary bonuses here, your adult may complete the following checklist in order to earn galleons. In order for your character to be considered as having 'passed' the work year to qualify for the salary bonus, you must accumulate at least 12ʛ. You do not need to earn this value, as your character will not be in danger of losing their employment; however, they will be unable to advance magically (unless they earn some galleons) and will not be able to qualify for the salary bonus. You can complete as many or as few as you'd like; however, there is a maximum earnable reward of 28ʛ that can be used toward Willow purchases:

If your character works for neither magical institution, there is still a list of requirements that you can meet in order to allow them to continue developing their magic. You do not have to complete everything on the list; however, your total value must be equal to at least 12ʛ in order to qualify for a promotion. If you choose, you may complete as many as you would like; however, there is a hard maximum of 28ʛ that can be put toward your Willow purchases:

HOGWARTS PROFESSOR TRACKER
Professors who teach at Hogwarts will have a checklist of their own. Like students, they will be required to earn a value equal to at least 12ʛ in order to qualify for a 'pass' of their duties. This directly impacts your performance review when determining who is allowed to return for another term as professor, as many of these link directly to the expectations set out for professors. If you choose, you may complete as many as you would like; however, there is a hard maximum of 28ʛ that can be put toward your Willow purchases:

HOW MANY POINTS DO I GET?
Each new character is given a first-time allowance to begin their magical journey. This amount is dependent upon the character's school year/age (in the case of adults). Children below the age of entrance to Hogwarts are not allowed to apply for this allowance until they become of-age.
Once your Report has been created, you may use your opening balance to purchase branches of the tree. Here is how we determine how many points you will start off with:
