Slytherin Dorm Rooms - Gideon Blackwood - 12-08-2025 DORM ROOMS The Slytherin dorms are separated into two wings. Separating the boys from the girls was necessary while housing teenagers. The archered doors to the dorms were on opposite sides of the common room. A small set of stairs led up to the second floor where the dorms were housed. If the boys got any ideas, they would soon find the stairs turning into a slide and plummeting them back down to the common room. Each dorm was the same as you entered, with the large gothic arched ceilings. A floor to ceiling window let in the green glow of the lake. The four poster beds were all equipped with curtains to bring a bit of privacy. Each student had their trunk at the end of their bed, a wardrobe for their clothes and personal belongings. There was a sitting area at the end of the room, in front of the windows, if the students wanted a more quiet spot to sit. Each dorm was equipped with a wood stove to keep the heat in during the winter months and a cabinet with extra pillows and blankets. Living under the lake made for bitter cold evenings. At the end of each hall there was a large water closet and shower room. The same black marble floors and stone walls could be found here as well. Each student was issued a small lockable cubby for their personal needs. |
