The tallest point in the castle, the Astronomy Tower offers an unobstructed view of the night sky and little shelter from the wind. Classes are held here after dark, charts and telescopes in hand, though students have been known to linger long after the lesson ends.

The West Tower & Owlery
The West Tower houses the Owlery, a high, drafty chamber open to the wind and lined with stone perches. The floor is scattered with straw, feathers, and dropped rodent bones, while the air is thick with the rustle and hoot of hundreds of owls.

The clock tower rises above the courtyard, its great pendulum swinging steadily beneath arched stonework, chimes echoing through the halls, marking time and reminding truants of where they're supposed to be. The Dark Tower
The Dark Tower is a cold, isolated turret reached by a narrow stair. Inside, the bare stone walls hold iron rings and a trapdoor to the grounds below, long used for confinement and punishment.
