About Rae
Rae is a simple girl with simple tastes. She can best be summed up by the principle "do exactly what you want only for as long as it brings you pleasure and not a minute more". She learned not to hold onto anything for too long because nothing is permanent, but to enjoy every fleeting moment to the fullest. The girl is unapologetic in who she is, having learned a long time ago that the only person she needs to make happy is herself. This is a belief she is actively working through, but Rae bleeds green and will always choose herself first unless you've earned one of the very few spots in her inner circle of trust. Everyone else is considered furniture, useful or useless.
Consequences don't mean the same thing to her after an early life of constant punishment and often heavy-handed retribution. On the contrary, the girl is practical and views them for what they are, a necessary aftereffect of her enjoyment. So long as an action suits her current need, she'll partake. Let later worry about itself, is how she sees it. She's the sort of girl to be busted for a late night in the kitchen and shrug it off because she's already eaten the cake. Her upbringing hardened her, and while she tries to soften, she's not afraid to set fires and watch the world burn if it'll get her what she wants.
Generally, she's very friendly! Rae likes to engage others. More accurately, she enjoys being indulged. The girl often has schemes that can be considered...questionable and fantasies that sometimes only make sense to her, but she's not one to turn down a spot of company.
Rae can also be considered volatile. Her emotions tend to get the better of her (for better or worse). This can make her come across as very intense. Her friends are used to this by now, but strangers may find it off-putting, unnerving, or perhaps even awe-inspiring, depending on how they choose to view her explosive personality.
About Dani
Hi friends! So, just to start, my name's Dani, and I don't like warm hugs. I've been RPing for...I wanna say about 8 years now, and found this crazy group of people I call friends about a year ago. Currently, I live in Japan, where I work as an ALT teaching English at two high schools, but I'm originally from Jamaica. I'm considering my options for the next stop on my life tour, and it's every bit as overwhelming as it sounds.
Most of my free time gets eaten up by either writing posts or playing video games. I'm big into fantasy gacha RPGs, but mostly just Wuthering Waves, Honkai Star Rail, and Genshin Impact. I haven't really thought to dabble beyond that. Used to be super into Animal Crossing and now Iggy's trying to get me into Medieval Dynasty. I like builder games a lot. Cities: Skylines is my favourite. I also really like taking naps, but my sleep schedule itself is the stuff of nightmares, and idk how to fix it at this point.

About Ren
Ren is a potions boy. He loves the brew, and there's no getting around that fact. Spending year after year volunteering in the hospital wing as an apothecary as well as getting permission to take internships in potion shops in Hogsmeade on weekends, there's no doubt that if you need a potion of dubious legality, the boy could probably whip one up for you. He's quiet and usually in his own head, but there's no doubt that the boy enjoys a conversation as much as the next person. Although he does enjoy being the occasional study buddy, he'll also enjoy being whisked away on someone else's adventures. He's not much for starting his own though.
There's little Slytherin in him if you look only on the surface, but the sorting hat knows best. There've been incidents with the boy, things he's not himself very conscious of how they've happened but were triggered due to intense jealousy. The boy's lost a lot. His parents were dead when he was only five, and he's been a not-so-proud resident of the Children's Home ever since. As he watches all his fellow orphan friends get adopted and move into new homes, he channels those mixed feelings into studying even harder knowing that no one will ever give him a leg up but his own efforts.

I also live in Japan and while Dani and I haven't decided to run away yet, we live on the same remote island in Japan educating those who don't wish to be educated.
