Welcome to Gryffindor House
Welcome to Gryffindor. My name is Professor Roufas Bourne. Many of you might be somewhat confused as to my manner of speech but worry not. I am not British; I hail from the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. My family owns and operates the largest dragon breeding and refuge facility in the United States of America. I spent over twenty years as an Auror, working under the Magical Congress of the United States of America, and after retiring have been offered this position at Hogwarts, so I will be your head of house and Charms professor.
My office hours are Monday through Friday 4:00-5:30PM. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you, and doing everything to help you have a safe, fun, and productive term.

Activities
Extracurricular Activities look a little different this term. Due to the events of last year and the lower enrollment numbers, we will be halting Quidditch and Dueling until we can secure the magical wards. Instead, we have the below opportunities for a little fun:
Spellcasters Society: A club devoted to helping students improve their magical abilities. If you are interested in improving your spellcasting and want help in a safe and fun environment SIGN-UP today!
Library Assistant: This term, we will be reintroducing the Library Assistant role for all those who wish to help take a load off the librarian's shoulders. Check HERE for more information and to sign up.
Wandering Wands: The Wandering Wands are a group of students whose sole purpose is to learn the art of survival. They focus on emergency situations and how to overcome the challenges that may come about when magic cannot be relied upon. If you are interested, please find more information HERE
