What was the headmistress to do when everyone was laughing and having fun at the Carnival? Well, Ruby had been hesitant to leave the castle, however it was awfully quiet seeing as everyone was outside. So the woman made her way down to the event and took in the sights. The Prefects had done a fantastic job, and all the students looked extremely happy to be there.
The sight, honestly, brought a smile to the woman’s face.
She may as well see what everyone was doing. From a distance she could see the Deputy at the dunk tank, soaking wet from just being freshly dunked in the water. She laughed, and continued down the walkway, her eyes scanning the area to ensure everyone was having a great time. And, most importantly, be safe.
“What… is this…?” Ruby said softly under her breath as she approached the red and white tent. A familiar redhead sat at a table. Fortune Telling?
“Okay, Miss Nordstrom, I will bite,” she said and sat down. She looked at the cards and pointed at the one on the far right. “This one,” she said, tapping it.
