COMMON ROOM
The Slytherin Common Room was a dark and foreboding space with black marble floors and dark black wood furnishings. The large floor to ceiling window at the far end of the room let in the trademark green glow that was common in all Slytherin rooms. During the day, the students would get a look into the underwater lives of those that lived beneath the water's surface. At night, a bioluminescent glow reflected off the silver finishes and shiny stone floor.
While the room gave off a dark and sinister appearance, there were pockets of warmth and softness if the students went looking. Soft overstuffed velvet green sofas were positioned in front of a large stone fireplace. Small recessed nooks held plush chairs, pillows and throw blankets for when the nights got cold. Available for late night studying or conversations, these nooks were perfect for hanging out and decompressing from a long day of study.
