London, Berlin, Tokyo, New York, Paris, Milan, and the list goes on. Blackwood & Son’s has over a hundred locations in magical and muggle cities around the world. Muggle eyes would see a boarded up hardware store, a pharmacy for sale or an old post office locked and shuttered, but for the discerning eyes of the poshest Wizard, there was so much more to see.

Mahogany paneled walls, plush leather arm chairs, rich textures and sumptuous fabrics were piled high in the luxurious shop. The Men’s clothing store and Tailor was where all the elite wizards went to find their next bespoke suit, pocket watch or fitted tweed vest. The Tailors on staff could whip up a formal tuxedo, dress robes, a work suit or a simple pair of slacks in hours. Magic really was a beautiful thing

For the summer months, a special section was brought in, just for those attending Hogwarts, or other wizarding schools around the world. Measurements would be taken, hems adjusted, sleeves taken in, for the perfect fit.

For those in the know, there was another part of Blackwood and Son’s, just through the curtain and down the flight of stairs. If you were deemed worthy, you would be allowed to see the inner sanctum. A speakeasy and betting club, for those who wanted to conduct business away from prying eyes. You can’t just ask for admittance, you need to be invited, it all depends on who you know.

The rich dark wood and dim lighting set the mood as soon as you waled down the stairs. Soft music played from somewhere. It sounded like a band was in the room, but there were no instruments in sight. Men and women lounged in the rich leather chairs and sofa's. Whispered conversations and hushed deals around every corner.

A large bar spanned the entire left side of the room. A rich mahogany bar top gleamed in the light. Glass shelves lined the wall filled with every type of liquor you could think of, backed by a mirror, making it look like the alcohol went on forever. Five beers on tap at all times, everything from a Real Ale, a thick dark Stout, a Lager, Porter and a few IPAs.
