Who are The Wandering Wands?

The Wandering Wands are a group of students, led by Charms professor Roufas Bourne, whose sole purpose is to learn the art of survival. They focus on emergency situations and how to overcome the challenges that may come about when magic cannot be relied upon.
Each term, the club will take a camping trip to a random location where students will be expected to showcase the skills they learned that term.

Where and when can I find The WW?

The Wandering Wands meets Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm in the Charms classroom each week.

What are the requirements to pass?

In order to be considered as having passed The Wandering Wands, you need to have accumulated a minimum of 20 points by the end of the term.

• Lessons: Three class-like lessons will be posted. Each lesson will represent a portion of the events for this year's WW camping trip. You must post at least three times in a lesson to earn the badge for that lesson.

If I pass, what do I get?

Wandering Wands students will receive merit badges for each lesson completed, showing their significant accomplishments. In addition to the main focus badges each term, there will be opportunities for individual study and achievement in various areas. WW students who achieve certain levels of distinction will be granted special spells. (more info tba)

How do I claim my rewards?

Staff will handle rewarding the patches, which will be added to the first post of your Whomping Willow.
