Welcome to Ravenclaw!

WELCOME TO

Ravenclaw

1922 - 1923

From your Head of House...

As House Head, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to Ravenclaw. We are a house known for discernment, curiosity, dreaming and an unfortunately persistent habit of asking questions long after everyone else has sensibly gone to bed. You will find your time here rewarding - provided, of course, you make good use of that remarkable mind you insisted on bringing with you.

OOC - my name is Amber, and I'm one of the four admins running around this joint. You can find me here and on Discord as Julia Barlowe (@.ambers.), and my primary areas of responsibility are mentoring new Ravenclaws, the Lexicon, the Ministry, and Community Outreach and Support! Feel free to contact me any time with any questions you have.

IC - Julia runs a tight ship, but if there's one thing she loves in this world (besides books...and dark magic...and potions...) it's her students! She has a soft spot for anyone that needs help, or an ear, so feel free to reach out for threads! She'll be teaching Dark Arts this term (and expects to see you all there!) as well as the Library Assistant program.

Now, for what's happening this term!

Classes...
Please see the Academic Calendar thread for the calendar for this term and to see the full listing of available classes.

Activities...
Unfortunately, Quidditch and Duelling are still banned from school grounds. We do have a selection of extracurriculars you can busy yourself with:

Hospital Wing Volunteers, led by Ruth Elliot
Library Assistants, led by Julia Laurence
Spellcasters Society, led by Maddox Barlowe

Anything Else...?
Tell me about you! Please reply (in-character) with the following information:
