Making a Character
Everything you need before you apply.
You've read the rules, you know the rating. Now for the fun part! Here's everything to check before you post your application.
Your Character Slots
Brand new members receive one student character slot and one WW (Wizarding World) character to start.Additional character slots can be awarded after two terms of active writing and engagement. There will also be opportunities throughout various terms to win an additional character slot through challenges and writing accolades.
Before You Apply
- Check the Face Claims Make sure the face you want isn't already taken. Remember: no anime, unnaturally-colored or AI-created faceclaims, and avatars should be 200x300px.
- Check Special Requests Before applying, check here to make sure you don't need a special request for something! We try to respond within 72 hours to any and all requests made. You can see what's already been approved in the Special Requests Registry.
- Plan Their Magic Here on KB, we are using a Skill Tree that we have named the Whomping Willow. At the end of each term, during the summer month (April, August, or December), you are able to spend galleons (ʛ) that you earn with your activity on site. If you do not request a WWE, you will not be able to use magic.
- Explore the World The Codex has our plots, characters and family trees. The Hogwarts Registry shows who's in each house and year, and the Blood Census shows the balance of bloodlines.
